What Does ‘Fully Checked’ Actually Mean When Buying a Used Car?

We often say our cars are “fully checked” — but what does that actually mean?
At Wirksworth Motor Co, it’s not just a quick once-over. Before any car goes on our forecourt, it’s given a proper inspection that covers brakes, tyres, fluids, lights, warning systems, service history, and more. If it doesn’t meet our standard, it doesn’t go up for sale. Simple as that.
We also make sure V5 documents are present, HPI checks are clean, and any advisories are flagged clearly — no surprises.
So when we say “fully checked,” we mean you’re getting a car that’s ready to drive and built on transparency. That’s how we’d want to buy a car, so that’s how we sell them.
